Resident in Counseling Position

Living Wellness, LLC is a boutique therapy practice that provides compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals, teens (13+), families and groups both online and in-person.

​

Our areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress, work-life balance, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues and Women's challenges. Although most of our clients that request our services meet these areas of focus, we service a wide variety of clients.

We are seeking a full-time (W2 employee)  clinician who is warm, collaborative, positive, and dedicated to meaningful therapeutic work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. If you’re passionate about helping clients find strength and transformation, we’d love to connect.

Requirements: 

• Knowledge and obedience of HIPPA and federal and state laws

• Ability to work independently and part of a team

• Previous experience and willingness to provide therapy to groups, families and couples

• Master's Degree in Counseling or Related Field (REQUIRED)

Responsibilities: 

• Counseling Skills, Assessment, and Treatment Planning

• Knowledge of Counseling Theories and Techniques

• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Actively working towards LPC/LMFT licensure in the state of Virginia
